Blackhawk Painting, Inc. offers industrial painting services for underground penstock systems/ confined space, which includes specific safety plans for confined space, specialized equipment, tools and skill set. Penstock systems are an integral part of any dam, wastewater or hydroelectric power plants.

Penstock system painting is a very complex job. Within these confined space areas, insuring proper protocol and job quality is imperative.  We pride ourselves on our  philosophy that safety is paramount on every project we are awarded.

Safety

Some of the safety requirements include: our employees being fitted for proper respirators by a 3M fit specialist, use of a 4-Gas monitor, along with a rescue kit for extraction.
